Once a Sinfonian, Always a Sinfonian

We're a group of alumni Sinfonians - brothers of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity in the Alabama counties of Calhoun, Etowah, Cherokee, Cleburne, Randolph, Clay & Talladega.- coming together for music, fellowship and fraternity. Live nearby? Join us!

Chillin' with JSU's Marching Southerners

Bros. John Phillips (IN, 2000) and Scott Carter (EN, 1999) with freeze pops the alumni association provided to JSU's Marching Southerners at a rehearsal.
NEAL Sinfonia members tonight treated Jacksonville State's Marching Southerners to hundreds of freeze pops at a break during evening rehearsal at the band's pre-season camp. The brothers enjoyed developing "the mutual welfare and brotherhood of musical students." We were also glad to get a chance to introducing incoming freshman to the fraternity. Plus, we got to hear the band working on the arrangement of Stravinsky's "Firebird," the opener for their 2011 program.

July 2011 gathering

Join us Saturday, July 2 at noon at Java Jolt Coffeehouse, on the Square in Jacksonville. In addition to the fraternal spirit, there's great coffee, sandwiches and desserts.

If you're one of the 60+ local Sinfonians who received a letter introducing you to the group and inviting you to the gathering, come on out!

March 2011 meeting

Our next monthly gathering will be Saturday, March 5 at noon, at Java Jolt Coffeehouse, 5 Public Square E., Jacksonville, AL 36265. This will be a great opportunity to enjoy the company of brothers over coffee or a sandwich in a relaxed environment. If you've been meaning to get out and join us for some time, here's your chance. If you're a member who's not attended in some time, we need you there. Please mark your calendars now and make a commitment to be there.
